I remember listening to this in middle school, back when I still didn’t know who I wanted to be and when I hated myself. This was a video I’d watch to comfort myself. Now, I’m 19, graduated and I start college in August and I’ve learned to love myself more. This made me realize how much I’ve grew over the years, it’s still a masterpiece just like it was all those years ago☺️

The contrast between who I was when I first saw this video and who I am now is staggering, I'm so happy I haven't lost this gem yet

I first saw this when I was 11. My mom had just left me and my 9 year old sister for a life of drugs. It felt impossible to continue without her. Our own mother. We was living with out grandparents. 2 years later I would be diagnosed with cancer at 13. This video still with me. My mom was gone for two years before she came back and got Clean but I was now sick. I am now 19 and will be 20 this September. Still an uphill battle with my health and my self love cause at 11 I lost my self worth. This video and my loving caring boyfriend have helped to rebuild the broken child. Healing comes but it's never instant. It takes time and you gotta be open for it. It will never force it's self on you.

I always think about how insecure I used to be. When I first heard this I felt seen in a way. I'm more comfortable in my body, I wasn't 'skinny' or 'fat'. I was simply in the middle. And I learned to love that and my body. I feel confident and hapoy; I come back to this video and just remember how sad I used to get over my body or not being pretty. I wish I could give my younger self the care and love she deserved

I was just thinking about this animation last week. I watched this a million times a couple years ago!

I used to have a really bad problem with food, hating my body and not wanting to go out. Feeling like I wasn’t enough to be loved or even looked at.. my sister send me this song with a message saying “ and you are beautiful I’m afraid” the day I tried to take my life for the same reason… I never looked at life the same way ❤️❤️

god... i remember watching this when i was 11/12 and i was such a struggling little girl and this video was so soothing when i had anxiety attacks and stuff. i had completely forgotten about it until i saw the thumbnail on my recommendations and i was like "wait..." and when i heard it suddenly all memories came back flooding my brain. im almost 17 now. and honestly, thank you for this video ;) my little girl self really appreciated it and i still do now.
